What Day Is It?

All day yesterday I couldn’t remember if it was Tuesday or Wednesday. Imagine my surprise to wake up this morning and discover it was still Tuesday. The slow moving week has made me realize something, though—school starts in only 37 days! I really think it’s the constant bickering that makes the days drag on. I honestly can’t wait to separate them again. I would never have thought with such an age difference, that they would fight like cats and dogs, but you’ll see I mean that literally from one of yesterday’s “conversations”:

Stacia: (singing) I know you; I walked with you once upon a dream. (repeat. over and over again.)
Brenia: Stop singing that song!
Stacia:: (singing)I know you; I walked with you once upon a dream.
Brenia: Stop it! Hssss!
Stacia: Grrr.

  1. I survived five daughters, so you have my empathy…..and life without kids is as wonderful as I imagined all those years…lol

  2. 30+ days? You have my sympathy. Our boys start back to school on August 4. I’m planning on spending the entire day naked just as soon as I see them get on the bus that morning. I also plan on calling the family and friends that I haven’t been able to talk to since May 19 due to the constant sibling fighting. Oh and have some wine with lunch. It’s going to be a wonderfull day!
I don’t know what’s making me crazier this summer… The constant fighting or the constant food obsession they have. That’s another thing I’m looking forward to; just one meal a day to prepare for 5 days of the week. Gods help me, I shall never complain about being lonely ever again come August 4!
