As our oldest approaches the teen years, it has been fascinating to see her interest in some of the same things I was into as a preteen. Today, she is wearing this little number—way too reminiscent of the 80s clothing I donned at her age. It doesn’t stop there, not by a long shot. Isn’t it funny how trends come and go in cycles? I remember saying something I thought was original when I was a teen and my parents just laughing at me. And then I find the same thing happening with my teenager. 🙂

Oh! I forgot to tell you what I would have printed! My d17 year old daughter and her 13 year old brother went on a youth ministry trip this past summer down to Houston to rebuild after the hurricane. One of the leaders got an excellent shot of all the kids with one of the families. It would look really amazing in the youth room.
I’d get a print of the kiddos, to give to their Grandpa for Christmas.
I would love one of these with a picture of my daughters for their grandparents
